Job Summary

Work within AMD’s Central DFX team to optimize and standardize DFT/DFD design methodology for complex ASIC systems. Implement and deploy automated design flows, run design checks, and debug CAD/IP regression failures while analyzing coverage. Build scalable automation using Perl, Python, and TCL scripts, and develop in-house utilities and tools, including AI/ML applications. Collaborate with global engineering teams to support DFX adoption across AMD products.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand Design-for-Test (DFT) architecture.
•Implement and deploy automated design flows to add DFT features in complex SOC ASIC or IP subsystems.
•Set up and execute design checks using industry-standard and in-house tools.
•Develop Perl, Python, and TCL scripts that enable scalable DFT implementation.
•Monitor CAD and/or IP regression results, debug failures, and analyze coverage; develop in-house automation, utilities, intranet web portal, and AI/ML applications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering.
•Experience with Perl/Python/Shell scripting, C++, and SQL.
•Experience with AI/ML applications.
•Good object-oriented programming skills.
•Digital circuits and VLSI knowledge with strong problem-solving skills and communication.
