Job Summary

Own credit underwriting support, loan portfolio monitoring, and commercial banking relationship management to help maintain strong credit quality. Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests, assist with due diligence, and support renewals, modifications, and waivers. Prepare loan packages and participate in approvals, coordinate loan closings, track exceptions and covenant compliance, and monitor borrower repayment and financial condition for timely action.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with due diligence/analysis of new client relationships and opportunity memos.
•Manage renewals and support the preparation of loan packages, presentations, and the loan approval process.
•Process approvals and closings for modifications/amendments/waivers to existing credit agreements and coordinate loan closings with internal teams and outside counsel.
•Maintain loan portfolio administration through exception tracking, financial reporting, and covenant compliance, and perform annual loan reviews as needed.
•Monitor loan repayment activities and the financial condition of borrowers, taking necessary action on past-due accounts, and oversee small loan/deposit portfolios.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (business concentration preferred).
•2-3 years of banking experience, primarily related to credit analysis/underwriting.
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some form of financial spreading software.
•Strong understanding of credit policy and procedures; ability to evaluate cash-flow and collateral-based credits.
•Strong written and analytical skills with the ability to make judgments with limited guidance.
