Job Summary

Drive a concrete mixer truck equipped with an auxiliary mixer to deliver concrete safely to job sites. You’ll comply with Department of Transportation requirements, perform daily truck inspections, and follow procedures for loading, unloading, and delivering materials. The role includes backing under batching/loading hoppers, inspecting concrete for consistency, cleaning the truck and drum after each delivery, and adhering to safety manuals, punctuality, and workplace procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with all Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Drive to job sites to safely unload concrete and maneuver the truck to the delivery point.
•Back under batching or loading hopper, view/inspect concrete for consistency and amount, and follow loading/unloading procedures.
•Clean the truck and drum after loading and delivery, spray with acid compound as required, and read/comply with safety and employee manuals.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must have a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Must be 18 years or older.

•Ability to read and interpret documents (delivery tickets, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions) and communicate effectively.
