Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned locations.
  • •Support staff at Child Development Centers, youth programs, and summer camps with training and guidance.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations; participate in health fairs and base activities.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application; maintain confidentiality and anonymity.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with community resources and coordinate with POC to meet installation needs.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in a mental health field
  • •Valid independent counseling license (state, DC, US Territory/Commonwealth)
  • •Minimum of two years post-license clinical experience
  • •Demonstrate intermediate-level competency with technology and software (Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, smartphone/tablet navigation, video-conferencing)
  • •US Citizenship and fluent in English
