Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop an engineering team focused on cloud-native, containerized infrastructure for data products and services.
  • •Drive complex technical initiatives to improve platform availability, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • •Set priorities, remove delivery obstacles, and partner with engineering, product, and platform stakeholders to align objectives with business priorities.
  • •Guide the adoption of new technologies and infrastructure automation practices to strengthen operational excellence.
  • •Foster a culture of reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement across high-scale distributed systems.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree; or 2 years with a PhD), or 11+ years of relevant experience.
  • •3+ years managing teams focused on infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Proven experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native, containerized infrastructure that supports data products and services.
  • •Strong expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, identity and access management, and security.
  • •Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and leading complex initiatives across availability, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
