Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair on-farm infrastructure while troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance for farm vehicles and poultry houses.
  • •Connect electrical wiring and cables; install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards.
  • •Adjust functional parts, repair or replace defective parts, and report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor.
  • •Follow lock out tag out guidelines and procedures when required; perform weekly generator test runs.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (or 18 months if laid off or providing child/elder care).
  • •Must be able to read, write, and have simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • •Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • •Must have a valid Driver’s License with 1 year verifiable driving experience and a clean safety record.
  • •Must be forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
