Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with Life Saving Rules (LSR) audits of OSHA-regulated plant facilities.
  • •Assist accident investigation and root-cause analysis to prevent repeat unsafe conditions/behavior.
  • •Conduct jobsite safety setups, spot checks, analyses, and safety concerns on high-risk jobs.
  • •Observe workers to ensure prescribed safety equipment and PPE use.
  • •Complete weekly safety reports, identify negative safety trends, and support corrective action plans, including quarterly safety blitzes.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 year of concrete construction and/or industrial safety experience.
  • •Thorough understanding of and ability to enforce federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  • •Possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • •Strong knowledge of ready-mix concrete products.
  • •OSHA 10- or 30-hour training within 6 months, with ACI Field Grade I certification within 1 year and First Aid CPR certification within 6 months.
