Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate and implement the DHCM HSE Management System and Emergency Response/Emergency Management plan with district and community stakeholders.
  • •Review fire and life safety drawings for code compliance; provide HSE advice and expertise to address safety factors for residents, businesses, and visitors.
  • •Attend incidents/emergencies, ensure reports are prepared, investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions with trend analysis.
  • •Oversee contractor/service provider HSE compliance via inspections, audits, site visits, and recommendation of precautionary measures.
  • •Conduct internal HSE audits and risk assessments, develop risk-based inspection plans, perform fire risk assessments, and identify and deliver HSE training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HSE.
  • •Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and NEBOSH International Diploma (Level 6 Occupational Health & Safety) preferred.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience managing Health & Safety within community management or similar environments.
  • •Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and obtaining third-party certification for Integrated Management Systems (IMS) with a compliance and continuous improvement focus.
  • •Strong understanding of international HSE standards including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, WELL Building Standard, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and NFPA standards; proficient in Microsoft Office.
