Job Summary

Build value-added relationships with customers to understand financial needs and provide appropriate investment solutions. Prospect both within the financial institution (via referrals from client-facing associates) and externally to grow referral sources and bring in new clients. Manage customer relationships to increase wallet share and identify cross-referral opportunities. Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training, while maintaining a constant state of alertness and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect within the financial institution by establishing relationships with client-facing associates to generate referrals.
•Prospect outside the financial institution to build external referral sources and bring new clients to the bank.
•Sell effectively by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate investment solutions with clear features and benefits.
•Perform customer relationship management to increase wallet share and seek cross-referral opportunities within the bank.
•Complete required BSA/AML and other assigned compliance training and related duties as needed.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent of a four-year college degree plus 2 years related experience and/or training.
•19 to 23 months related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Maintain or pass NASD Series 7 within 90 days and NASD Series 66 within 90 days.
•Ability to write reports and business correspondence and present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Strong critical thinking, mathematical, and problem-solving skills to interpret technical instructions and draw valid conclusions.
