Job Summary

Own the product roadmap and workflows for the Accounting & Ledger team, building the financial system of record for private funds. Drive development of the general ledger engine, chart of accounts, journals, trial balances, valuations, and automated close. Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to turn transactions into a clean, auditable, real-time ledger that powers NAV and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and traceable data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive the roadmap for ledger and accounting workflows, including chart of accounts, journals, trial balances, and period close.
•Own the General Ledger Engine, supporting multi-entity and multi-currency fund structures (fund vehicles, SPVs, and holdings).
•Lead automated transaction ingestion and journal-entry workflows, including integrations with external systems and banking/custodian feeds.
•Partner with engineering to design valuation logic and the data foundations feeding NAV and fund performance calculations.
•Translate accounting requirements into product logic with automation and audit trails, collaborating with operations and finance teams to optimize close, reconciliation, and accuracy.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience building or extensively working on ledger or accounting systems, ideally shipping a general ledger from scratch or as a core rebuild.

•7+ years of product management experience in fintech, accounting/ledger, or financial data systems.
•Ability to manage mission-critical, data-heavy product areas with strict accuracy and compliance requirements.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
