Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and portion fresh to-go food items daily, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, protein boxes, snacks, sides, and other grab-and-go offerings.
•Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety protocols (FIFO rotation, proper labeling, temperature control).
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep kitchen, to-go food area, refrigeration units, and workstations.
•Stock and replenish the to-go food display area at the end of the shift.
•Assist with food inventory checks to help maintain health standards while minimizing waste.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen, or deli roles preferred (restaurant, cafe, or grocery store experience is a plus).
•Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus).
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
•Availability for early morning shifts: 4:30 AM – 9:30 AM (approximately 5 shifts per week to reach 20 hours).
•Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a kitchen setting with refrigeration and heat.
