Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, and order parts to diagnose issues faster.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, and maintain the service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance and assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Must have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, and must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
