Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a principal-level individual contributor thought leader within the planning organization, shaping merchandising planning strategy and capabilities.
  • •Collaborate with DTC Buyers to develop and communicate merchandise financial strategies aligned to product and financial opportunities.
  • •Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department/class for future seasons.
  • •Own style forecasting for assigned categories and build style forecasts with the Blue Yonder Forecasting tool based on assortment.
  • •Manage open-to-buy forecasting and in-season reforecasting (weekly/monthly/quarterly), communicating sales and inventory strategies to cross-functional partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or a related field.
  • •7+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, demand planning, buying, or allocation.
  • •Experience with style forecasting methodologies and/or tools.
  • •Experience working in a merchant organization as a planner, buyer, or equivalent (wholesale apparel preferred).
  • •Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If Statements).
