Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake transport statements, transport assessments, environmental statement transport chapters, construction traffic management plans, and travel plans, including supporting client and local authority scoping discussions.
  • •Lead technical discussions on accessibility of project/construction sites for multiple modes and articulate impacts and mitigations for planning approvals.
  • •Collaborate proactively in a multi-disciplinary environment with adjacent disciplines including noise and air quality, ecology, and highway teams.
  • •Work across other transport workstreams such as communications and engagement to support a sustainable workflow for the local team.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered to budget, programme, and required technical standards, while keeping up to date with relevant standards and policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience scoping reports, transport assessments, and environmental statement transport chapters.
  • •Experience delivering transport planning projects with knowledge of relevant guidelines and standards.
  • •Familiarity with local authority transport plans and strategies (beneficial), plus experience with transport feasibility studies and option assessment reports.
  • •Strong numerical, spatial, and analytical skills, with excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • •Ability to produce high-standard technical project reports and communicate technical arguments to technical and non-technical audiences.
