Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and maintain the SBD EHS Management System, including EHS policies, risk management, incident investigation, training/competence, and continuous improvement.
  • •Lead, coach, and mentor EHS team members and cross-functional teams to promote a Safety-Always culture.
  • •Manage environmental permit requirements (stormwater, wastewater discharge, Title V air permitting) and ensure accurate inspections, reports, and compliance.
  • •Develop and run risk assessments and corrective actions, including maintaining risk registers and overseeing emergency response contingency programs.
  • •Oversee OSHA injury recordkeeping, audits/certifications, and EHS data on Cority/EHS website, including maintaining OSHA 300 logs and injury metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety and/or Environmental Sciences preferred.
  • •3+ years’ experience implementing EHS culture in a manufacturing and warehouse environment preferred.
  • •Broad knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 standards and applicable environmental requirements.
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills to work with all levels of the organization.
  • •Certified in first aid, CPR, and AED; PIV train-the-trainer; in-depth knowledge of OSHA-30, etc.
