Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical roadmap and architecture for enterprise IAM with Okta as the core identity platform.
  • •Architect and continuously improve Okta capabilities across SSO, authentication, lifecycle automation, Workflows, Identity Governance, and Access Requests.
  • •Design reliable onboarding, role-change, and offboarding identity processes for multiple user populations.
  • •Build and improve integrations between Okta and enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian, and MDM).
  • •Drive identity governance and automation using Okta Workflows, APIs, scripting, and infrastructure as code to reduce manual administration and key-person dependencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep hands-on expertise with Okta in enterprise environments (SSO, Lifecycle Management, Authentication, MFA, Workflows, Identity Governance).
  • •Advanced understanding of identity standards and protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, federation, provisioning, and authorization.
  • •Experience automating onboarding, role changes, and offboarding using Workday (or similar HRIS) as the authoritative data source.
  • •Strong identity governance background including access reviews, entitlement management, access requests, RBAC, and least-privilege controls.
  • •Strong scripting/automation and infrastructure-as-code skills using Python, PowerShell, and Terraform (or similar), plus API integration experience.
