Job Summary

Lead stress and vibration analysis for gas turbine components across turbojet and turbofan development programs, including compressors, turbines, shafts, bearing systems, and stationary structures. Perform thermo-mechanical simulations across design and off-design conditions, conduct creep/fatigue/fracture and rotodynamic assessments, and run FMECA to support safety and operability. Optimize gas turbine system design for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost while reviewing simulations and guiding testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
•Perform thermo-mechanical simulations at design, off-design, and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability.
•Conduct creep, fatigue, fracture, and vibration/rotodynamic analyses for gas turbine components.
•Run FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) to support safety and operability assessments.
•Review designs and simulations, generate testing guidelines, identify project risks, and mitigate them while supporting and developing junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or related field).
•Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity and/or heat transfer.
•Experience in whole-engine structural analysis and clearance assessments is a plus.
•Experience in bearing performance assessment is a plus.
•Fluent in English and 5+ years experience for senior roles.
