Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the commercial strategy for S&P DJI’s options-based and multi-asset index solutions across assigned buy-side clients, with accountability for pipeline development, revenue generation, and long-term franchise growth.
  • •Originate and close new business opportunities across index licensing for investment product issuance, index data usage, redistribution, with particular emphasis on solutions tied to derivatives overlays and multi-asset strategies.
  • •Serve as a specialist consultative seller for technically complex index solutions, translating client objectives into commercially viable index concepts and clearly articulating methodology, use cases, value proposition, and implementation considerations.
  • •Build and deepen relationships with Asset Managers and ETF sponsors. Work collaboratively across the sales team to effectively serve the derivative-based ETF ecosystem.
  • •Partner closely with Product Management and Research & Design to shape solution development based on market demand, client feedback, and emerging trends in options, volatility, and multi-asset investing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or CFA preferred.
  • •10+ years of successful experience in institutional sales, index sales, investment product sales, market data sales, index structuring, derivatives-related sales, or a closely related field within financial services.
  • •Demonstrated track record of revenue generation in long-cycle, conceptual, and solutions-oriented sales environments, including complex negotiations and intellectual property or licensing-based commercial models.
  • •Strong expertise in options investment strategies, options-based indices, derivatives overlays, and/or multi-asset investment solutions.
  • •Strong understanding of client use cases across structured products and ETFs, including how indices are used in investment products, hedging frameworks, and product manufacturing.
