Key Responsibilities

  • •Design traffic engineering elements for highway transportation projects, including signing/pavement markings and traffic signals.
  • •Support alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, throughout the southern US.
  • •Work across junior, mid-level, and senior role expectations depending on level and experience.
  • •Create traffic CAD designs such as signing/marking design and traffic signal design.
  • •Apply knowledge of transportation design standards and deliverables in the role (e.g., Interstate/complex interchange work preferred).

Key Requirements

  • •For CAD designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •Junior-level engineers: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Mid-level engineers: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Senior-level engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Experience with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads, including signing/pavement marking design and traffic signal design (Interstate/complex interchanges preferred).
