Job Summary

Lead a large EMEA Solutions Architecture pre-sales organization (~130 people) and own the regional technical GTM strategy. Drive transformation of Solutions Architecture into a primary consumption-growth driver through value-based discovery, strategic POCs, and reference architectures. Partner with EMEA Sales to win complex modernization and AI-native workloads, sponsor executive customer architecture discussions, and ensure seamless pre- to post-sales handoff while managing budget and resourcing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the EMEA pre-sales strategy for Solutions Architecture, aligning technical vision to regional priorities to drive acquisition, expansion, and post-close consumption growth.
•Transform the team to drive consumption motion, increasing accountability, execution rigor, and customer value realization.
•Lead and scale a distributed ~130-person organization across EMEA with operating rhythm, capacity planning, and leadership bench.
•Partner with EMEA Sales leadership to deliver pre-sales excellence and technical differentiation on complex strategic deals.
•Serve as an executive technical sponsor in strategic customer conversations and ensure unified pre- to post-sales handoff with Professional Services and Customer Success.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or enterprise solutions engineering in enterprise software, cloud, or data platform businesses.
•5+ years leading large, multi-country pre-sales or solutions architecture organizations with a track record of driving technical differentiation and revenue outcomes.
•Experience managing 100+ team members across multiple countries, including leaders of leaders.
•Expertise in value-driven technical discovery and sales methodologies (MEDDIC / MEDDPICC), institutionalizing scalable frameworks.
•Fluency in English required; willingness to travel extensively across EMEA and strong executive presence with CIO-level credibility.
