Job Summary

Lead Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis for built environment and building physics projects, using advanced simulation methods to address areas like wind studies, fire safety, water modelling, thermal performance, ventilation, and pollutant dispersion. Develop performance-based designs and provide optimum solutions for efficient buildings and infrastructure, prepare fee proposals, support UK bids, and peer-review technical work while producing analysis reports and design review outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and undertake Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis covering fluid flows, heat transfer, and environmental flows.
•Use advanced simulation methods to solve fluid flow problems related to building physics, including wind studies, fire safety, water modelling, thermal performance, ventilation, and pollutant dispersion.
•Develop performance-based designs and provide optimum solutions for efficient buildings and infrastructure.
•Prepare fee proposals and support project management for iCRC scope of works and UK bids.
•Perform desk studies, develop analysis reports, organize Qualitative Design Reviews (QDRs), and peer-review technical work prepared by others.

Key Requirements

•BEng/BSc/MEng in Mechanical or equivalent engineering discipline.
•Working towards professional qualifications such as IEng or CEng status with CIBSE/IMechE (or equivalent).
•Excellent technical knowledge and experience in CFD analysis for buildings and infrastructure projects.
•A responsible and accountable approach, including conscientious teamwork and responsibility for deliverables.
•An ability to take project briefs and deliver and control tasks within time and budget.
