Job Summary

Operate feed mill equipment to manufacture high-quality livestock feed, including grinders, mixers, and batching/pelleting systems. Receive and move feed ingredients, load and unload trucks, and manage accurate loadout processes using hoses, sampling, and hatch operations. Monitor batching/scaling systems and maintain feed quality and production accuracy. Perform routine maintenance, keep the mill clean and safe, and follow safety, quality, and compliance standards while meeting daily targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, batching/pelleting systems) to manufacture livestock feed.
•Receive, handle, and move feed ingredients, including loading and unloading trucks.
•Prepare and manage loadout activities such as opening hatches, attaching hoses, sampling, and ensuring accurate product delivery.
•Monitor batching/scaling systems and adjust processes to maintain feed quality and production accuracy.
•Perform routine equipment maintenance, maintain a clean and safe mill environment, and follow safety, quality, and compliance standards to meet daily production targets.

Key Requirements

•Must meet minimum age requirement.
•1+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture, or general labor environments.
•Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
•Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
•High school diploma or GED (preferred), or ability to attain required licenses such as CDL with Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
