Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Commission Manager with end-to-end service delivery for large/complex commissions.
  • •Provide day-to-day client interface and ensure client objectives are met through cost management service delivery.
  • •Conduct feasibility studies, procurement reporting, and apply value management and value engineering/life cycle costing.
  • •Manage estimating and cost planning, procurement process stages, post-contract cost variances, change control, and cost checking/valuation work.
  • •Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports, negotiate final accounts, and lead cost management teams where appropriate; develop new business opportunities and bid support.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven cost/commercial management experience.
  • •Preferably MRICS.
  • •Experience with NEC3 contracts, in particular Option C – Target Cost.
  • •Experience of working on major programmes and projects.
  • •Experience in leading and managing teams.
