Key Responsibilities

•Perform thorough quality reviews of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and related case material to ensure accuracy, completeness, clarity, and regulatory alignment.
•Assess whether identified suspicion meets the threshold for reporting and make well-founded filing decisions in line with internal procedures and timelines.
•File SARs and document assessments clearly and thoroughly according to regulatory requirements, internal standards, and evidentiary expectations.
•Provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to investigators and other stakeholders, and support consistent SAR reporting.
•Analyze thematic trends and SAR-derived intelligence to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen controls, guidance, and ways of working.

Key Requirements

•Have an academic degree in law, finance, economics, criminology, or another relevant field.
•Communicate clearly and professionally in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
•Have at least 7+ years of professional experience in AML/CTF, financial crime compliance, SAR investigations, SAR decisioning, SAR reporting, or a similar risk-management/control function in a regulated environment.
•Have 5+ years of hands-on SAR filing experience, including complex cases from multiple sources; SAR experience involving correspondent banking and different products is an advantage.
•Assess investigative material and determine whether the threshold for suspicion is met, ensuring SAR reporting is clear, complete, accurate, and aligned with internal and regulatory expectations.
