Job Summary

Own production and inventory planning activities to support on-time manufacturing and engineering. Maintain SAP work order release schedules, analyze MRP execution and order variances, and ensure accurate disposition of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ECRs. Conduct pre-shortage analysis, cycle counting, and PCI reporting root-cause/corrective actions, partner with engineers on special projects, and provide status reports and floor audit support. Use data analysis, forecasting, Tableau, and Python/SQL to turn insights into action.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain the SAP work order release schedule to provide materials on-time to manufacturing and engineering.
•Reschedule and TECO production orders as required; perform pre-shortage analysis and work order variance analysis to increase component availability.
•Review MRP execution for accuracy; reconcile supply and demand; validate master scheduling and/or PDS requirements.
•Review and ensure proper disposition of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs); perform system maintenance and audits for system accuracy.
•Support inventory and process control activities (usage/stock analysis, expediting shortages, cycle counting), lead ad-hoc statistical/data-mining analysis, and create Tableau visualizations while converting data into action items.

•Understands key business drivers and applies them to accomplish planning work within policies and guidelines.
•Provides informal guidance to new team members despite having no supervisory responsibilities.
•Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in planning and control within the materials/production discipline.
•Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
•Solves problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
