Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with customers to understand problems and translate them into platform features for Scale’s backend.
  • •Travel or relocate to key customer locations (travel >50%), and deploy/maintain Scale software at customer sites.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams to define and execute the vision for backend solutions that meet government security needs.
  • •Implement end-to-end data integrations, syncing customer data to Scale’s platform and back.
  • •Develop customer-requested features and ensure customer success through close engagement and iteration.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong is a must-have: hybrid customer-facing engineering experience as a forward-deployed software engineer or similar roles.
  • •Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; familiarity with Node and React is a plus.
  • •Experience with Cloud-Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • •Linux experience with shell scripting and operating systems fundamentals.
  • •Data engineering knowledge including ETL, data pipelines, data modeling, and data governance.
