Buyer (contractor)

Manage purchasing of critical and complicated raw materials by executing procurement procedures, maintaining and improving the purchase process, and negotiating supplier costs, contracts, lead times, and payment terms. Partner with MPS/planners using MRP logic to adjust purchase order timing, support material forecasting, and prevent stockouts and excess inventory. Coordinate RTV goods handling, inbound logistics compliance, and supplier corrective actions while updating purchasing data in I-supply and Oracle systems.
