Key Responsibilities

  • •Originate and manage a portfolio of community development loans and equity investments, including affordable housing, LIHTC, NMTC, and other CRA-qualified activities.
  • •Identify and maintain relationships with high-profile clients, organizations, and agencies in the affordable housing industry.
  • •Develop marketing strategies and plans for specific regions and clientele.
  • •Negotiate and structure transactions to ensure long-term viability of real estate investments.
  • •Collaborate with internal partners (credit, legal, compliance, CRA, and risk) and represent the bank at industry conferences and stakeholder meetings.

Salary: USD 116,000 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience originating low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) investment deals.
  • •Ability to structure and negotiate terms for affordable housing loans, including LIHTC and NMTC.
  • •Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • •Experience with community development lending or commercial real estate lending programs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, or Real Estate (or equivalent experience).
