Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks to manage Unix platforms at scale.
  • •Build and manage Infrastructure as Code pipelines for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • •Standardize and automate Unix builds, patching, upgrades, and compliance enforcement.
  • •Integrate automation with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Service Management platforms to deliver reusable service offerings.
  • •Lead platform modernisation initiatives and use automation to resolve complex platform issues and prevent recurrence.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record implementing Ansible at scale across Unix/Linux estates.

  • •Ability to define automation strategy, standards, and reusable frameworks for platform engineering.
  • •Experience leading automation-led platform engineering initiatives and acting as a technical authority for Unix automation.
