Job Summary

Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and technical work for wastewater treatment and reverse osmosis facilities. Monitor treatment plant and pump-station equipment, record operating statistics, and maintain or repair instrumentation and control systems. Chart and evaluate lab test results for trend analysis, collect and test wastewater samples for required standards, and ensure the plant operates within required limits. Maintain electrical drawings and schematics and provide backup to related roles.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor equipment, gauges, and charts across the treatment plant and pump stations.
•Maintain, modify, or repair instrumentation and control equipment including recorders and flow meters.
•Chart lab test results for trend analysis and maintain accurate records of analyses and test results.
•Collect wastewater samples and identify concentrations of chemical, physical, or biological characteristics required by local/state requirements.
•Maintain drawings and schematics of electrical and other systems and monitor electrical systems, circuits, or equipment; provide backup as needed.

Key Requirements

•3 years of relevant experience operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems.
•Able to write and read English.
•Excellent troubleshooting skills diagnosing electrical appliances and control layouts.
•Ability to maintain instrumentation and control equipment (recorders, flow meters, and water quality monitoring equipment).
•Ability to collect and test wastewater samples and maintain accurate records of analyses and test results.
