Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical inputs for drainage and/or flood engineering projects across major infrastructure and development sectors.
  • •Deliver drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council clients and major infrastructure projects.
  • •Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil 3D/12D and TUFLOW (and related modelling software).
  • •Develop practical solutions to complex drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges and produce high-quality technical and non-technical reports.
  • •Work with multidisciplinary teams by providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and engaging with clients and regulators for trusted technical advice.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven drainage/flood modelling experience (circa 5–15 years+), including stormwater and drainage network planning, hydraulic assessment, and/or hydrologic modelling.
  • •Confident use of Civil 3D and/or 12D, and/or TUFLOW (plus related hydrologic modelling tools).
  • •Ability to deliver underground and surface water drainage systems, with strong technical capability and design review skills.
  • •RPEQ or ability to apply for RPEQ (preferred).
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working directly with clients and regulators.
