Job Summary

Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely to transport live poultry from growers to the processing facility and/or poultry feed between growers. Follow DOT safety rules and all company, local, state, and federal policies and laws. Perform and document pre-trip inspections, secure loads, assist with loading/unloading, maintain required documentation, and report equipment issues, while working the Monday–Friday 4:00pm–4:00am shift.

Key Responsibilities

•Exercise safe driving practices while operating a commercial motor vehicle.
•Comply with DOT regulations and all company policies, laws, and regulations.
•Perform and document pre-trip inspections and maintain secure loads.
•Assist with loading and unloading trailers as necessary.
•Maintain proper documentation and report truck/equipment maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation and state and federal laws.
•Ability to read and write legibly.
•Minimum 21 years of age.
•Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate, with sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
