Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders aligned with Adyen’s commercial and strategic objectives.
  • •Lead regulatory engagements, managing relationships with regulators and auditors.
  • •Anticipate and identify key regulatory obligations and integrity risks, ensuring they are addressed practically and at scale.
  • •Translate regulatory obligations into relevant policies and procedures to be communicated and implemented globally.
  • •Represent Regulatory across work streams and products to establish regulatory strategies supporting controlled and compliant growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified lawyer in a commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, Australia).
  • •10+ years’ experience in regulatory and/or legal functions focused on payments, financial services, and/or fintech.
  • •Knowledgeable in the payments, financial services, and/or fintech industry.
  • •Strong analytical and communication skills with pragmatic and strategic thinking to advise stakeholders on regulatory matters.
  • •Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators/supervisors, with the initiative to take ownership.
