Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the management and embedding of reputational, sustainability, and climate risk across Asia sites, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Provide stewardship over 1LoD activities related to reputational risk and sustainability execution risk, including greenwashing and Net Zero-related risks.
  • •Engage on change initiation, design, and delivery for refreshed or new policy in priority areas, and support strategic transformation initiatives by identifying and mitigating reputational risk.
  • •Support climate risk management across the 2LoD, monitor regulatory and guidance developments, assess implications, and advise global businesses on embedding climate risk into processes and behaviours.
  • •Participate in governance and committee membership as needed (e.g., ExCos/Risk Management meetings) and provide expert advice and robust challenge to risk and control owners.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (BA/BS); advanced degrees preferable (e.g., MBA, MSc, PhD).
  • •Experience in risk management at a globally significant financial institution (GSFI).
  • •Strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and how proposed changes impact reputational, sustainability and climate risk.
  • •Technical understanding of how reputational, sustainability and climate risk are identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and mitigated.
  • •Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences, challenge constructively, and influence stakeholders across a matrix structure.
