Job Summary

Own and evolve an internal, AI-native multi-agent platform used by OKX Internal Audit. You’ll migrate a working prototype estate to a regulator-grade AWS/GCP production foundation with HA/DR, observability, governed data with provenance/lineage, and an agentic runtime plus evaluation/red-teaming harness. You’ll also build Responsible-AI and model-governance guardrails, engineer data protection, and stand up continuous-monitoring audit techniques—working as part of a small two-person team.

Key Responsibilities

•Inherit, operate, and progressively migrate the prototype estate to the target platform without interrupting daily and board-cycle workflows, using a strangling approach and integrating existing OKX AI/data capabilities.
•Re-architect the Hive Mind platform into resilient AWS/GCP production with HA, DR, defined SLOs, and full observability.
•Build the agentic runtime and harness: orchestration, multi-model routing, tool/MCP/plugin integration, and evaluation/red-team/regression harnesses with production-grade gates and cost controls.
•Implement Responsible-AI and model-governance layers, including hallucination/bias/drift controls, output validation, guardrails, and complete logging.
•Build data infrastructure and protection: provenance/lineage pipelines, encryption and secrets management, least-privilege access, and defensible retention; also stand up CAAT and continuous-monitoring audit foundations.

Key Requirements

•7+ years building and operating resilient backend or platform systems in production, including on-call ownership over time.
•Proven brownfield migrations: taking a founder-built or prototype system to production grade while it stayed in daily use.
•Strong engineering fundamentals: Python, strong SQL and data modeling, plus one additional systems language (TypeScript/Node or Go).
•Agentic runtime and harness engineering: building model-agnostic agent orchestration, routing, evaluation, red-team harnesses, and responsible-AI controls.
•Cloud and resilience engineering: AWS or GCP, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD, HA/DR, SLOs, and observability with testing and documentation.
