Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Inspector to support transportation design-build projects in the Columbia, SC area. You’ll assist with field inspections on roadway infrastructure, ensure compliance with plans and specs, maintain detailed records, support senior inspectors, and help drive safety and quality on site.

•Perform basic mathematical calculations and follow simple technical instructions
•Assist higher-level inspectors with field inspection activities and project support
•Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
•Work under immediate supervision and report findings to senior inspection staff
•Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements by performing inspection duties

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23 - 38 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma plus 2 years of related experience or equivalent
•Valid U.S. Driver’s License to visit project sites, clients, and AECOM offices (Motor Vehicle Records review)
•US Citizenship is required
•Must be able to visit project sites and work under supervision
