Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement end-to-end features within your squad, contributing to scalable backend services.
  • •Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements across our services and APIs.
  • •Work with event-driven systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • •Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and other Engineering teams to enhance the platform and developer experience.
  • •Take ownership of core components, lead by example through code reviews and mentoring, and drive best practices in system design.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building geo-distributed / geo-localized systems (multi-region deployments, latency-sensitive design, regional failover, and data residency considerations).

  • •Hands-on experience with CockroachDB, or AWS DynamoDB, including Global Tables.
