Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a distributed team to design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks.
  • •Engage with commercial partners to deliver a delightful, optimized Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
  • •Develop the team through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and leading by example.
  • •Oversee commercial engagements to support timely delivery of agreed project milestones.
  • •Ensure quality and reliability standards while aligning with other Canonical teams on architecture and roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and high-performance server-class hardware.
  • •Technical background in software engineering with experience managing or leading a team of software engineers.

  • •Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • •Bachelor’s (or equivalent) university-level degree, preferably in a technology field.
