Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform client billing duties according to firm policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of client and firm matters.
  • •Use Elite 3E and eBilling hub to originate proformas, make edits, generate final invoice copies, and prepare invoices for mailing, email, or electronic submission.
  • •Act as a liaison between billing attorneys, LAAs, and accounting, communicating and training attorneys and LAAs on billing procedures.
  • •Work with the eBilling team to initiate electronic billing setups and troubleshoot electronic billing submission rejections and errors in a timely manner.
  • •Handle complex billing features as needed, maintain up-to-date billing instructions, and file invoices, proformas, and correspondence per department policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Read/write and perform arithmetic computations at a level typically achieved through high school or equivalent to maintain and verify accounts.
  • •Approximately 3-5 years of prior on-the-job experience to understand finance policies and procedures and operate relevant equipment/software with minimal supervision.
  • •Ability to organize and prioritize many tasks under time constraints, make independent decisions, and think critically about complex billing situations.
  • •Ability to respond to requests involving analysis of client billing histories and basic financial analyses.
  • •Ability to handle highly confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
