Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and champion the GoalZERO safety culture at the Morris Plant.
  • •Lead and champion the OASIS (behavioral-based safety observation) program at the Morris Plant.
  • •Provide field engagement with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors; deliver procedure reviews, program assessments, and field audits.
  • •Own and manage site HS programs and procedures, advising site personnel on HS systems and requirements.
  • •Participate in safety meetings, walkabouts, HSE training, safety teams, and incident investigations; support VPP and monthly audits, and provide rotating site on-call coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification in Industrial or Occupational Safety or related field is a plus).
  • •Minimum of five years’ experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • •Demonstrated support for and participation in occupational safety programs.
  • •Experience identifying performance gaps and developing/executing action plans to correct them.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
