Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess client needs, design solutions, and negotiate with insurance carriers to obtain coverage aligned with client interests.
  • •Develop and lead client relationships and account strategies, including insurance marketing activities for a book of business.
  • •Analyze client exposures and collaborate with junior associates to develop risk treatment and placement strategies.
  • •Develop and execute, with the client, an agreed structure and strategy to obtain appropriate program coverage.
  • •Provide guidance to more junior staff and support day-to-day solicitation and servicing of clients’ insurance programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5+ years of financial lines insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience, with concentration on Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Crime and Special Risk.
  • •Solid understanding of carrier underwriting practices and processes.
  • •Proven client-facing skills including effective presentations and communications.
  • •Demonstrated leadership skills collaborating with teams and working with clients to exceed expectations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent years of proven experience) and must maintain an appropriate broker’s license.
