Key Responsibilities

  • •Innovate and develop a power-efficient, low-latency, highly-intelligent machine perception vision system for VR/AR.
  • •Create training and data collection/generation pipelines and advance ML algorithms for scene and user behavior understanding.
  • •Map ML algorithms to a hardware accelerator, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize efficiency, and propose improved HW/SW co-design.
  • •Collaborate with x-functions to translate system requirements into cloud-edge workload partitioning and edge accelerator HW/SW requirements.
  • •Conduct quantitative evaluations using system modeling and FPGA prototyping to validate ideas and architecture options.

Key Requirements

  • •Be completing or have recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • •Experience in research related to ML algorithms or AI accelerator design.
  • •Hands-on experience with programming tools/languages including C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
  • •Familiarity with appropriate ML frameworks.
  • •Good communication skills and enthusiasm for new technologies.
