Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage pre- and post-contract requirements to ensure contractual obligations are adhered to and fulfilled under awarded contracts and work orders.
  • •Partner with Procurement and Legal pre-contract to support engagement of contractors and/or consultants in line with agreed procurement strategy and procedures.
  • •Administer contracts from award through completion, including take-over of works, final assessment, review/acceptance of subcontractors, and documentation checks.
  • •Oversee contractor and/or consultant performance monitoring against contractually agreed KPIs and support resolution of contractual disputes and claims as required.
  • •Lead contractual negotiations and support contract tailoring, payments certification (including defined costs for NEC Option C/E), cost/audit reviews, and delay damages calculations.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ overall experience with at least 5 years in contract management and contract administration, including NEC contracts.
  • •Experience managing high-value metro rail, major infrastructure, or similarly complex projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of monitoring and managing contractor and/or consultant performance against contractual requirements and agreed performance measures.
  • •Significant experience assessing and resolving contractual claims and administering contractual entitlements.
  • •Proven ability to develop and maintain KPI libraries and contractor performance management frameworks, with expertise across the NEC suite of contracts.
