Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and optimize Metropolis Vision AI pipelines for real-time and streaming computer vision and deep learning scenarios.
  • •Develop and refine large-scale distributed services that process video, image, and 3D data in edge and cloud environments.
  • •Contribute to multi-modal perception capabilities combining 2D, 3D, and temporal information for complex scene understanding.
  • •Use simulation and synthetic data tools to build, test, and validate perception algorithms at scale.
  • •Profile and tune GPU-accelerated inference pipelines to meet latency, efficiency, and reliability targets, collaborating with product, research, and platform teams.

Key Requirements

  • •BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •8+ years of professional software development experience using modern C++ and Python on Linux.
  • •Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and distributed systems.
  • •Experience in computer vision and deep learning with a history of deploying production systems.
  • •Proficiency building high-performance concurrent systems (multi-threading, asynchronous I/O, memory management) and integrating AI components into scalable back-end services.
