Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment across refinery and port operations.
  • •Respond to breakdown situations to return plant equipment to service and minimise production losses.
  • •Diagnose, repair, and test temperature, pressure, flow, and density measurement instrumentation.
  • •Maintain and repair 3.3kV and 415V switchgear, VSDs, motors, cabling, and motor control centres.
  • •Use work instruction documents to complete scheduled and unscheduled work to a high tradesperson standard.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical trade certification with an unrestricted electrical license.
  • •Certificate IV in Instrumentation with practical experience maintaining instrumentation.
  • •High safety awareness and risk mitigation for electrical maintenance work.
  • •Experience maintaining large-scale refinery equipment, including fault-finding motor control circuits.
  • •Experience with electro pneumatic control valves and positioners, variable speed drives (VSDs), PLC and DCS systems.
