Job Summary

Lead contract review and commercial governance across a diverse portfolio, partnering with business functions, clients, and suppliers to support successful project delivery while minimising contractual risk. Provide contractual and commercial leadership, advise stakeholders on negotiation strategy, and oversee contracting policies and client contract assurance. Work closely with the Head of Contracts, manage and develop the contracts team, and help drive continuous improvement in contract management practices.

•Provide contractual and commercial leadership across a diverse project portfolio while minimising contractual risk.
•Manage contract review workloads and advise stakeholders on contractual matters and negotiation strategies.
•Drive best-practice contract management, including governance and assurance, and recommend corrective actions.
•Manage the preparation, negotiation, establishment, and administration of Joint Venture and/or Partnering agreements.
•Provide day-to-day management and development of the assigned Contracts team members and support continuous improvement in contracting practices.

Key Requirements

•Degree required in Law, Quantity Surveying, or a Business Degree.
•Proven track record of contract review, drafting, and negotiation in a service company environment.
•Experience in negotiating and setting up JVs, MOUs, bidding agreements, and consortium agreements.
•Expert knowledge of contract terms and principles, including drafting and rollout of contracting policies.
•Working knowledge of company Finance and HR systems, plus excellent understanding of client contract structures, principles, and policies.
