Job Summary

As a PC Configuration Specialist for a government client in Alexandria, VA, you will assemble and build desktop workstations, install and configure Windows, drivers, and required software, and perform QA testing prior to deployment. You’ll manage IT asset lifecycles and inventory, coordinate hardware delivery, and support imaging using Microsoft System Center or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit. You’ll also configure BIOS/registration settings and network details like static IPs, while using Active Directory and ticketing to track work.

Key Responsibilities

•Track and manage the lifecycle of IT assets from purchase to disposal, including maintaining accurate technology inventory.
•Assemble and perform PC builds, installing pre-configured images using Microsoft System Center or Microsoft Deployment Tool Kit.
•Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and required software applications to meet customer requirements.
•Set up Windows BIOS/registration settings and configure network settings such as static IP addresses, subnets, and gateways.
•Use Active Directory to manage computer and user accounts and utilize ticketing for workorder submission and tracking.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,000 - 75,000 annually

•DoD Interim Secret Clearance is required.
