Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the creation and maintenance of data solutions that power analytical and reporting capabilities for GMNS and the Enterprise.
  • •Develop and execute product-level test strategy and roadmaps, including migrating products to Amex’s Google Cloud platform Lumi.
  • •Ensure continuity of support and delivery across initiatives, including UAT support, documentation, operational tracking, and insight generation for recommendations.
  • •Service and support merchant data product release trains, driving speed to market through testing at scale, standardization, and agility.
  • •Define and implement metrics to measure delivery process and platform health, ensure compliance/quality/regulatory needs, and improve accuracy and efficiency via automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field such as data analytics, or engineering, with understanding of data engineering concepts.
  • •2+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Data Management or Servicing, with strong knowledge of Amex systems.
  • •Hands-on experience on Hive, Python, SQL, and BigQuery.
  • •Experience supporting operations and service in a Big Data/Cloud-based enterprise platform environment, including enterprise system integration and platform architecture.
  • •Ability to translate business requirements into technology features and influence stakeholders effectively.
