Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, establish, and standardize end-to-end manufacturing processes for transmission and its components.
  • •Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • •Analyze and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk) for critical characteristics and implement error-proofing (Poka-Yoke).
  • •Plan and execute process validations, trial runs, and Run@Rate activities.
  • •Manage engineering changes (ECN/PCN), perform process risk assessments, support EHS compliance, and lead continuous improvement and industry 4.0 cost reduction initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •BE/BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or a Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering with at least 8 years of experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of transmission and its component manufacturing processes and related SQDC requirements.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with industry 4.0 and quality core tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, and SPC.
  • •Ability to create and maintain process documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • •Strong shop-floor engagement, analytical ability, and cross-functional coordination to drive process robustness and continuous improvement.
