Job Summary

Own the cloud migration of existing .NET applications to AWS, defining strategies across re-host, re-platform, and refactor. Build containerized deployments with Docker and ECS, and set up CI/CD for automated releases. Implement secure, scalable cloud-native architectures using core AWS services (ECS, ECR, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC) while modernizing monoliths into microservices and providing production support during transitions.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze existing .NET application architecture and define AWS cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, refactor).
•Migrate applications to AWS using ECS for containerized deployments.
•Containerize .NET applications with Docker and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
•Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions, including modernization and microservices (where applicable).
•Configure and manage AWS services (ECS, ECR, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC) and optimize performance, availability, cost, and security; collaborate with DevOps and provide production support during transitions.

Key Requirements

•Strong experience in .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core application development.
•Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS (Fargate/EC2), ECR, EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
•Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with ECS.
•Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
•Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation, and understanding of VPC, subnets, and load balancers.
